Home Sweet Home -Series.

Looking back down the years memories dance in my mind, some are elusive and I just cannot grasp them but others spring easily to mind – they were exciting times for me, a new bride embarking on a new journey -and experience

It was a working shed and saw may sheep shorn. Shearing time always lifted the spirits as it meant there would be money coming in. Over the years we spent a good deal of time here. When my babies were young they would too and lie in a washing basket, the drone of the engine lulling them into a sound sleep which allowed their mother time to help out in the shed. would leave them in the care of their uncle and on the horse provided by my husband would ride out to bring more sheep into the yards. It usually worked well and baby didn’t miss me. But this also meant that the cooking was up to speed as meals would be every two hours.
