On 31 October 1917 Aussie mounted Infantry charged the the village of Beersheba. What better way to celebrate our heroes than a ride on horseback in the country from where their noble horses came, in the land they fought for.

Lest we forget the real Australia.

Comment by Nelle-Indeed we should -just as well it is not next week because the people with power that can never be overwhelmed are going in to shoot as many horses as they can cruelly and inhumanely from above-they are our iconic horses but we have no say or indeed ever been asked and these beautiful creatures, for no rational reason, have to be wiped out because the power has said- this is another crime against humanity- when will enough be enough -how many blows can we stand before we move

I am interested in writing short stories for my pleasure and my family's but although I have published four family books I will not go down that path again but still want what I write out there so I will see how this goes
