TRUTH-TELLING or peddling mis-information?

Well, put Captian Cook on trial, not in the media or in biased articles but in a proper Court of Law. Defended by proper Counsel, funded by the Crown and supported by expert witnesses.

Lt James Cook cannot prosecute a defamation case himself but I feel sure he would settle for being acquitted by a jury of his peers when defending the many accusations thrown at him. This accusation seems to be the root of the many others:

“Whatever the injustice of Captain Cook’s refusal to acknowledge the unceded sovereignty of the First Nations people to the Australian continent, the failure to address it in the 120 years since Federation and repression of these peoples continues to have profound implications for our reputation, security and prosperity.”

Come on such a trial would be a good test of truth-telling and the desire for “Reconcilliation”.
