Traveler On the Backroads THE TALES OF LONG AGO kept drifting through my mind .

i could feel the words whispering on the wind

  • rushing headlong past
    the canyon walls –
    .
    the rocks and stones
speaking to me as the current
    bubbled over them
    .
    swirling around and between
    on their way downstream
    .
    THIS PLACE FELT ALIVE
    not just in my mind
  • no, more than that;
i could feel it in my soul –
    .
    from the shafts of light
    that reached down from
    the heavens above
    .
    shimmering in the mist
    rising up from the stream
    that flowed and wound
    through the canyon below
    .
    to the glistening walls
    that reached for the sky
    and the light above
    .
    both
    beautiful
    and enchanting
    haunting and
    magical
    .
THIS PLACE HAD STORIES TO TELL
and i felt it telling them to my soul … 🍁🍂💓
