It’s been so long since you left me, alone here in this place, I haven’t heard a single word, are you stuck somewhere out in space.or are you lost in the galaxy, trying to find your own way through, so many things have happened since you left, that I really want to tell you.
I finally did the packtrip, that we always talked about,I finally wrote your stories down and I’m trying to get them out.the rains been good, and I think the drought’s about to break.I wish I could write you a letter, can you send me a sign, cause I still miss you mate.
They all told me, that heaven was waiting for you, a big stock route up there in the sky with a mob of cattle too. I hope that you’re not lonely, and you’ve found some mates to help you through, so many things have happened since you left, that I really want to tell you.
I finally took some time off, I now know where I missed out We finally had the bushfire, that you warned us all about, your old horse is still going fine, in the paddock with his mate.If only I could write you a letter, or give you a call, I wish it wasn’t too late.
Where are you now, did you find your own way through, is there a heaven up there in the sky, or did they lie to you.
It’s been so long since you left me, alone here in this place, I haven’t heard a single word, are you stuck somewhere out in space.or are you lost in the galaxy, trying to find your own way through,if there’s a heaven up there in the sky, Old mate, I will find my way to you.
