Albanese celebrates 18 months in Government

The Albanese Government is halfway through its first term. If you haven’t followed politics much, allow me to summarise their activity since coming to office 18 months ago.

Six months blaming the former government for everything, and then 12 months trying to guilt Australians into voting for the Voice.

In addition, there was … actually, no, that’s it. That’s all they’ve done.

Now let’s list the things they haven’t done.

They haven’t addressed cost of living, they haven’t addressed inflation, they haven’t brought down energy prices, they haven’t stood up to China, they haven’t controlled the borders, they haven’t addressed anti-Semitism, they haven’t lifted productivity, they haven’t reformed the NDIS, they haven’t address the housing crisis, and no, they haven’t been able to find that promised $275 electricity saving they promised 97 times prior to the election.

Anthony Absentese doesn’t take responsibility. He takes an overseas flight.

Think i’m exaggerating? Albanese has given 8 press conferences in Australia, and 10 press conferences in foreign countries where he steadfastly refuses to talk about “domestic issues”.

Little wonder Albanese is now being spoken of as a one-term Prime Minister. But worse, he might not even make it to the next election.

I am interested in writing short stories for my pleasure and my family's but although I have published four family books I will not go down that path again but still want what I write out there so I will see how this goes
