Jewish schools are offering to heavily discount fees for Jewish children whose families fear for their safety in the public system.
Good on them for doing this. The Jewish schools are demonstrating a far superior brand of community spirit and action than many Australian schools and politicians.
But shame, shame, shame on Australia that the Australian Council of Jewish Schools has felt the need to do this.
