Comment by Nelle- How can they stop them when they take away the bio-security station-screw worms would annihilate the mango industry -20 odd years of the Asian koel (cuckoo) bird has been coming here every year what could they be bringing in at the very least working towards killing off our birds-they lay their eggs in magpies, currawongs, crows etc nests and when their egg hatches it kills the hosts chicks -I complained about these birds to Primary Industries back in 2004 and again to Wildlife Australia three years ago asking about the decline in our birds and I was gobsmacked by their response ‘climate change was killing off our birds and the foreign birds were protected ‘ when I asked for scientific proof she hung up on me. When are we ever going to wake up- having a fox in the hen house approach to everything agenda certainly should make it clear that we have hostile and unfriendly for people govts running amok in Australia
