The Scourge of the Capital City Elites

The nineteen out of twenty Australians who live neither in the Australian Capital Territory, nor in the same electorate as a State House of Parliament, voted 38.676% YES and 61.324% NO.

The one in twenty Australians who do live either in the Australian Capital Territory, or in the same electorate as a State House of Parliament, voted the oppositve way, 60.931% YES and 39.069% NO.

It is hard to escape the conclusion that the capital city elites are serously out of touch with the aspirations of the Australian people. Their behaviour towards the wider Australian population is similar to that of a hostile occupying conquering army.

The cultists, spivs and profiteers embedded in the false religion of global warming have suffered a major setback with the defeat of the Referendum. The supporters of Australian unity, reliable energy and human progress must now seize the opportunity to build upon this very significant victory over the opponents of Austraa unity, reliable energy and human progress.

The Lberal/National Parties should address these urgent tasks:

• Acknowedge that the Vote YES campaign was a proxy for the opponents of reliable energy (coal, oil, gas and nuclear), mining generally, animal husbandry, agriculture, fishing, forestry and just about everything which prevents us from starving to death in the dark.
• Salute parliamentarians who worked hard for the Vote NO campaign, for example Senator Hollie Hughes in New South Wales.
• Discredit, discard and disendorse Liberal/National parliamentarians who participated in the Vote YES campagn.
• Extinguish the present power of lobbyists over policy and candidate selection.
