Hi all

Our brumbies are rapidly being removed from the mtns ,they are either being shot and left to rot where they fall (yes in waterways ,I have video footage)or passively trapped.The lucky ones are picked up by rehomers, the unlucky ones will end up at the slaughterhouse and I cant even imagine the horror ,I don’t want to imagine the horror

Brutus and some of his mob trapped and removed and thankfully gone to a rehomer but where is the rest of his mob as we haven’t seen any of them , I hate to think so many of our favourite brumbies are missing ,where are they ?

So many brumbies are being removed ,it is so noticeable when we go up the mtn now.We can hike for 7kms and see less than 10 brumbies.

It truly is depressing ,so depressing in fact that we had a talk last night about wether or not we want to continue going up the mtn ,we just don’t know

And now that Harry and his mob have been removed it’s almost the icing on the cake for us,again ,thankfully Harry and his mob have gone to a rehomer.

It will never be the same up there !!

It has never been the same up there ever since the horrific fires of Jan 2020 and if that wasn’t terrible enough for the environment then Snowy 2.0 jumped into full swing and started ripping the guts out of the mtn, man has and will continue to ruin all things Mother Nature til days end…

Our government suck !!

Like our daughter said “they only listen to the people that want the brumbies shot and not the locals who know first hand the truths, our government only listen to the propaganda”.Yes that’s the message our children are getting and it’s just so wrong.

Who’s the environment minister now Penelope Sharpe ,Gee we seem to get a new one every year.These politicians jump from one port folio to the other at the drop of a hat

No wonder they just tick the easy box and not take the time to listen to the people in the know,that would be too hard ,Penelope Sharpe you truly have no clue as to what’s going on down here ,no clue whatsoever so don’t make out that you do.

NPWS do as they please without any regard and so do our politicians…

NPWS made a statement earlier on in the week “it is against our management practices and policies to shoot and leave any wild horses near any waterways”

Well guess what NPWS ,I have footage of shot horses literally lying in a creek.A headwater,one of many that feeds the Eucumbene river so once again you have lied to the public.When will the propaganda ever stop !!!!

We will head up tomorrow morning and hike out the “The Nook”,a place we like to go and sit ,see who we can find and say our goodbyes and in saying that I’m not being melodramatic at all ,it’s how we feel and it’s how things are looking up there.

It truly is depressing.

Depressing because our brumbies are being treated like dirt.

Depressing because it’s all based on lies and propaganda.

As for Mr Opportunist’s whereabouts ,like many other brumbies we simply don’t know where they are or have ended up Mr Opportunist being the stallion that has been with Harry’s mob for over 3.5 year now or at least WAS !!

We will miss visiting you Harry ,from the first time we saw you in early 2017 until the last time a few months ago ,cherished memories……
